Winter Happiness Festival FAQ

All this for £5? What's the catch?!

There is no catch! We want the festival to be affordable and inclusive to people from different backgrounds and circumstances.

How do the tickets work?

Every ticket has a 15 minute time slot for using the ball pool. There’s room for up to 8 people in the ball pool at a time. You’re free to enjoy the exhibits and activities in the Museum before and after your ball pool time for a total visit length of up to 90 minutes.

Please plan to arrive at the Museum at least 10 minutes before your time slot so there's plenty of time to get settled in. Unfortunately, if you miss your time slot we can't guarantee there'll be space for you in the ball pool.

Please be aware that the Museum will close after the last ball pool slot on each day. If you’re booked in for a late ball pool slot and you’d like to explore the rest of the Museum, please plan to arrive early so you can do this before your turn in the ball pool.

Where is the festival happening?

The Museum of Happiness has relocated to a new home since last year!

We’re located in:

Arlington House,
220 Arlington Road
Camden
London NW1 7HE

This is very close to Camden Town Tube station.

Are children welcome?

Yes, but they MUST be supervised at all times. As we are based in a homeless hostel we have a strict health and safety policy regarding under 16s in the building. There is also a 1 metre height restriction in the ball pool.

Do you have disability access?

Yes but unfortunately the ball pool is not wheelchair accessible. If you require disability access please get in touch and one of our team will help you to access the space using the lift.

Can you look after valuables?

We recommend leaving valuables at home wherever possible.
There is storage available at the Museum but this is used at your own risk and we can’t accept responsibility for lost items. It’s very easy to lose jewelry, keys and other valuable items in a ball pool!

Are there any restrictions on use of the ball pool

  • You need to be at least 1 metre tall.
  • The balls are made of plastic so if you have any plastic allergies you may not be eligible for the ball pool.
  • The ball pool features LED disco lighting. If you’re sensitive to flashing lights, please let us know in advance and we can make arrangements for these to be switched off during your time slot.

What is your refund policy?

Refund requests are accepted up to 24 hours in advance of your ticket time. Refund requests should be submitted through the Eventbrite system. Instructions on how to do this are available here.

Do you offer private ball pool bookings?

Absolutely! Please get in touch at smile@museumofhappiness.org for more information. This is subject to availability so be quick! :)
