We know things are really challenging right now, for all of us. It can be hard to remember the things that make us feel better when we need them the most. So we've created a simple A4 handout to print out, fill in and pin up.

When you need reminding of what makes you feel joy, meaning or calm etc, you can consult your own personal recipe for happiness at a glance.

We've also included the three systems your brain uses - soothe, drive and threat - so you can see at a glance which state you're in (most of us have our threat centres triggered right now!) Recognising the state we're in is the first step towards treating ourselves with kindness - and to move into a more helpful state.

And at the bottom are five simple ways to happiness, from the New Economic Forum's research into happiness.

Feel free to share it with your friends and family - it makes the perfect activity to fill in together, whether it's over the kitchen table or via a video chat!

And finally ...

Everyday life has gone out of the window for many of us - and a lack of routine can feel really unsettling. So here are three great ways to anchor yourself every week. Why not schedule them in your diary now?

Every Monday evening at 8.00pm - Self-Care & Wellbeing (Facebook Live) with our very own Vicky Johnson!

Every Friday morning at 8.00am - Join our friends the Kind Mind Academy for an hour of self-compassion by clicking this Zoom link.

Every Sunday evening at 7.00pm - Join our amazing friend Sarah Waite of SĒING Sound Meditations for a guided meditation and gratitude practise.
